I just purchased a compact 601 and have am having various problems. I think that something needs to be reset on it. The symptoms are as follows:.... it won't do a color change nor will it even.attempt.to. if I put it on the color it was sew out but then when it finishes the needle remains in the down position. Even when it trims the needle. remains down getting in.the way of the picker. I have a 1504 but am unfamiliar with these symptoms. Needle remaining down seems like something out of sync. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
