SWF 1501c frame will not center

I have an SWF 1501c embroidery machine. I have 3 problems that started almost simultaneously. First I noticed that when I entered the number sequence for the color chart only certain colors showed up; then when I automatically tried to center my hoop the table froze when it got to the rear-left side; at the same time I noticed my design alignment laser was not working. Not sure if all 3 are related or are individual problems. Have no warranty on machine, use it only for home use (no business), called for service and was given a quote of $1500.00 for a technician just to come to my house. Any ideas anyone?
