We just recently got a Summa d75 machine and have no idea how to use it. We are trying to figure out how to load the vinyl and what to click to print it. If anyone can help asap that would be great! Thank you!

we got the manual, but we are trying to load the program on to a Mac and for some reason the computer isn't sending anything to the machine..
bear with me because i don't know too much about the summa except for what i'm looking at on the internet.(congratulations! looks like a great machine).

were you able to install the macsign software?

what program are you using to design with (illustrator or corel)?

look at this link:

from what i've read you have to design in illustrator or corel and import that file into macsign, where it gives you limited cutting adjustments.

I got a program called co cut with my summa d75. It works great. Loading the summa is an easy task. put your vinyl in from the back line it up with the rollers and pull the handle up in the back to set the vinyl up. The rest works from your cut program. Everyone tells me you can cut direct from corel but I haven't found a way yet.

Good luck I have had my 75 for along time with no issues or problems. I have cut a ton of meterail on it. Summa is a great machine.
