subscription based service/e-commerce site

hello everyone

i've got a number of t-shirts to sell as part of a subscription based service. the best approximation to the service i can think of site-wise is something like the nerd culture/loot crate websites. My question is it necessary to setup an e-commerce page in addition to the main website and then link that page to it in order to get more traffic or would I just be better off with a website?

i think one site is better

you could just have a login that is an automatic re-direct to the subscription service when a person logs in

i know woocommerce has subscription plugins and a few reviews/tutorials kickin' around the interweb
