So I fell across info on a new Sublimation Ink that is supposed to be better, prints more vibrantly, & richer blacks than Sawgrass and more economically priced. It appears to be readily available in Europe right now.

Has anyone had experience with this ink and do you know if anyone is selling it yet in the US?

There is lots of info on SS inks on UK dyesubforum.co.uk including people who tested it when it first came out, and details from the main uk dealer, and I think sublisplash themselves, though I can't remember exactly. I don't think I've seen info on USA distribution.
In terms of color accuracy etc - a lot of this is down to the ICC profile you're using and the transfer paper. SS did admit they made their ICC profile to be more vibrant/have more pop in a post on that forum, so they aren't necessarily going for accuracy in their colour reproduction, but trying to make your images look like they're better than they are, or better than when printed with SG. I am no supporter of SG by any stretch (and google searches will back that up) but SS pre-launched to a huge fanfare of they were going to be better and cheaper, and when they finally launched, they weren't much cheaper than SG (no where near the price of bulk litre wide format inks) and by their own admission the color of the inks themselves wasn't necessarily any better either.

Just to let you know, we've recently opened our US office and warehouse for distribution. We've also signed up distribution partners in both the USA and Canada already.
These can be seen on our Where To Buy section on the website.
If I can help with any more details, please let me know.
