I am doing research on dye sub transfers and trying to make a desicion on what to get. I found chromablast inks that are made for 100% cotton transfers but it says they can leave a dull image on 50/50 and the regular dye sub seems to only work on polyester blends. Has anyone used the chroma blast dye sub inks on shirts, and if so were the results good.:)

Chromablast is not dye-sub ink, I believe it is a pigment based ink....this thread should help you.

I have samples from sawgrass with images transferred using sub, chromablast, the chromablast is on small white swatches and was wondering if anyone had used it on any other light colors, what the results would be. I currently sell my design on cafe press and zazzle.com and am wanting to start doing my own shirts on small quantity basis but still want to have the option to put the designs on other things as well not just garments I am trying to find the best solution before investing in one.

Dye sub will suit you well if you want to make things like mugs. I've used chromoblast before and got a yellow rim around my design. That was on a white T-shirt so I don't know what it would look like on a colored shirt. But you can only do sub dye & chromablast on light colors anyhow. Vinyl transfers are another option.
