Hi everyone, I'm a novice who has used this forum (and the world wide web) to educate myself in the art of T-shirt printing in its many art forms.

I'm aspiring to set up my own sublimation printing business and would like to focus upon t-shirts and then later maybe homeware too (coasters, place mats, tea towels, aprons, wall signs, etc).

So far, I've bought myself a Ricoh printer (which I'm beginning to think was a risky move seeing as I'm in the UK and supplies for Ricoh aren't easy to come by); a clam heat press; sublimation inks and sublimation paper. I've been trying to find the perfect blanks, which has also been difficult as I'm particular about the style of t-shirt that I would like to sell. My designs are mostly vintage style old prints and funny quotations and phrases.

I've already learned so much from so many knowledgable printers on this forum and, no doubt, will have my own questions very soon.

I look forward to learning much more here.

Thanks, Charles. Don't worry I'm only looking for 100%, or at least 75% polyester. I've just received some pretty cool looking coloured samples from Vapor Apparel so am excited to test them out. I am also considering American Apparel as they do two sublimation Ts and then a few others with 75% poly blend, but I'm worried it may be expensive there (will have to wait and see).
Thanks for the advice.
