When i sublimate mugs it is a beautiful result. when i sublimate t shirts they look faded and detail is not the best. help please.
could it be the 50/50 shirts or just the smooth surface of the mugs versus the shirt surface

You need 100% polyester t-shirts for Sublimation on t-shirts.

with 50/50, only 50% of the shirt is effected...sublimation will not bond to cotton fibers

Hi,

How long do you guys heat your t shirts and what temp and time . For you works best?

A good place to start is 45 seconds at 400 degrees f.
For thin fabrics you can reduce temp to 385 and time to 35.
I suggest a pillow or vapor foam pad under
shirt to avoid crease marks from the edge of the
paper.

We still get crease marks. They'll come out in the wash.
