Hi,

I am sublimating all of the front part of a t-shirt – I get a good prints, but before pressing the t-shirt is soft and has a good stretch to it. But when pressed it loses pretty much all its stretch.

I am thinking this may be a to high pressure issue but thus far I have not been able to find a pressure setting that works. The t-shirt guidelines suggest the item should be pressed for 50 Sec at 200 Degrees C.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Sublimation doesn't require a lot of pressure. Is this one of those hi-tech wicking fabrics? Some of those are more easily damaged by heat and pressure, so maybe try less pressure, lower temp, more time and see how that works. But I'd try minimal pressure before messing with the other parameters.
