anyone?...
I do all the time... If I have just a quick one time run I vinyl my screen... If I have a big simple design job I will cut my transpancery out of vinyl then burn my screen
so you put your cut out vinyl on the squeegee area, will it work if you stick the vinyl at the bottom of the screen?
I put my vinyl on the underside of the screen not in the squeegee area .... You will snag your vinyl if you put it on top
so how many runs before the vinyl peel off?

I tried this the very first time I started screen printing because I didn't have enough knowledge of coating my own screens. My design had plenty of detail but was a real pain in the butt to get onto the screen. Lost detail in the process. And screening was also difficult, didn't get many runs out of it because the smaller details just wiped off! Its a cheap and nasty way to do it but I'd highly recommend you teach yourself to coat screens. It's so easy really. Good luck

@Ben, have you tried inverting (mirror) the design and put the vinyl at the bottom and not on the squeegee area? because the squeegee will catch up the tiny details if you put your vinyl on top especially when you push a bit harder.

cute though
No, I didn't try it on the under side, My thinking was that the ink would push through and wipe of the adhesive glue. And even when I washed it out I lost even more detail. Like I said, Emulsion is the way to go. (For me anyway!) :)
i think it'll be better on jerseys like on numbering and names
I think simple stuff like numbers and letters will be ok, It just seems to be when detail comes to play that other options might be needed. Best of luck with it though! :)
ok thanks...
