Hi everybody,

Yesterday morning, when I started my printer something very strange happened. The printer start its warm up and suddenly it was smashing a side to the other. It's the very first time it happened.

What should i do, call my reseller to have a quick troubleshooting ( The printer is on warranty for 7 month) or call a priest to do an exorcism?

Check your encoder strip for damage, dirt or fingerprints.
Also, make sure its installed correctly that the spring isn't loose . There is an optical eye behind the carriage make sure its clean and the strip is installed between the clips
