I have a client that wants the text on the hoodie to appear like it's further away at the top and closer at the bottom, like the beginning of a star wars movie when the words are drifting into outer space. I have a Star Wars font but not sure how to achieve the effect that she wants. Any ideas?

What software are you using?

In CorelDraw, there is a Perspective effect, where you simply drag the corners of the perspective box/tool to create desired effect / vanishing point.

In Adobe Illustrator...
Look under the Effect Menu....then Distort and Transform...and Free Distort....then on the menu that comes up...drag the top corners "in" and then drag them "up" and you should have the look your after.

In Illustrator I would normally do Type - Create Outlines - and then use the white arrow to select the upper corners and drag them up and in.

some programs may require you to convert the text to curves first
