I have a question re: the sim stitch product from Stahl's. I think it's great but what if you have a custom design/logo that doesn't fall within their standard product list? Can they do that for you using Sim Stitch as well so as to avoid having to sew anyhting? if so that would be awesome! Anybody know or have any experience with it? If not who does this? I dont have an embroidery machine and can't afford the embroiderers i have come across. I have to do some baseball jerseys and it would be great if they can do that.

I was asking if they were able to produce a custom logo for me in the sim stitch style and then I would just have to heat apply it on the jersey. I just called them and they said they dont do that yet. It's not that i think the embroiderers are unreasonable. I understand it its work, it just isn't cheap...

My guess says you need to find someone who can cut custom appliques on a laser using something like Stahls perma-twill. The laser would seal the edges as it cuts so you wouldn't need to stitch the edges...

I have the Twill-Stitch pro software that Stahls and Imprintables sell. I can cut the twill but it would still need to be sewn which doesn't sound like it would help you.

ok, so since it looks like i will need to have the logo sewn, what should I be paying for this? (Just the sewing on of the logo. I will have a 3rd party create the applique) the logo attached is approx 4"x4" and is to be sewn on the left chest of a micromesh jersey. I have no idea what an average embroiderer would charge to do this. $5, $10, $15? BTW, I will need 20 of these sewn. This is an example of the logo similar to the red sox logo (but of course will be altered.) Any thoughts?
