A customer brought in "lettering" today. Said came from Stahls. Varsity type lettering for ball uniforms. Evidently his "guy" quit and would not finish last 4 team uniforms. I cannot figure out how to apply these. Looking at the letter, as it reads correctly, the top is shiny. Under side is dull with a pinkish cast (glue) I press, you supposedly have to peel cold, but I cannot get the shiny top to come off. The whole letter comes off, leaving pink "glue" on the fabric.. (yes, testing on scrap) Can anybody tell me how to do this. I usually cut my own, but they were using these and they all have to be the same..

Thanks.

From your description, it sounds like you have Gorilla Grip II.

The Pink is actually a protective liner that needs to come off before heat applying.

Proper application is:
320F, 2 second tack, light pressure
peel cold
320F, 10 seconds, light pressure w/ cover sheet.

Please let me know if you need more help.
