I have a customer that wants a 3 color back and the same 3 colors on the pocket. Do you normally charge set-up for 6 screens or squeeze them onto 3 when possible?
Yeah you can do that if you have room. I just did two different left chests that were both two colors on only 2 screens. Just depends on the logo sizes and your screen type/size.

Per location....per color here also.....

We burn the backs on one end and the pocket upsode down on the other so all you have to do is flip from end to end....super simple....plus we do lots of ganged together burns....sometimes we can squeeze 3 orders of a single color on one screen.

I try and fit the front and the back of a design on the same screen. When the size of the back permits I will position the front directly on top and to the right... ( if the front is a left chest print ) and that way I can just tape off the front design as I print the backs. Then after the backs are done I tape the back design and print the fronts without having to move my screens. I also charge the customer the films so I just leave the films as is instead of cutting them up.

In a way I pass the savings on to the customers... and they like that I do not charge them for extra screens, that keeps them coming back ( I hope ) :)
