I started printing with a hobby kit from Ryonet to get a feel for the process. It's a little on the flimsy side but I expected as much.

I would like to step up to a 2 color upgrade-able press or a four color.

My question is whether or not anyone has any experience with presses made by screenprintingandsignsupplies.com?

They are referred to as SPSS and they make 3 models called the Magnum, the Springer, and the Kicker.

I'm not looking for amazing quality or high production volume capability. So, are these any good at all? Or are they flimsy crap?

I would stay away from that press , search for Springer here and you will see why. As for the silver press sold by Ryonet its very sturdy and would buy another one if I was starting out again. Don't know which one you have but most people are very happy with a silver press.
I started with a 4/1 and upgraded to a 4/2 , flashing heated the platen up too much and had to wait for cool down.

I fell for the 4x4 kicker. It's a piece of crap and the company will not acknowledge my complaints. Their web site boasts proudly made in the USA, yet it is listed on Alibaba as made in Shandong, China. I am not out just the $700 but was stupid enough to think their micro registration would help. I could have invested the one thousand dollars into a nice used press. I guess that's the Kicker!
