My wife gets several designs a month that require a sponsor list be added to the design.

She sometimes spends hours setting them up.

What are you guys doing about this? Is there a way to place the burden on the customer in some sort of importable page.

Thanks

I usually ask the client to have the sponsors email me the vector art. I will also help her explain to the sponsors what vector art is if needed. If they don't have their logo vectorized we usually settle on just a written name under the logos. There is usually a handful that don't have a vector logo.

Also not sure how 40 or so names takes hours. We create columns, usually center the text within the column and type away. 40 names would take 15 minutes, 20 minutes tops.

Names as sponsor logos is a dream come true. When dealing with actual logos, we usually end up tracing or creating them from a terrible internet jpg the client send. Now that takes hours.

I was incorrect about amount. Last one was 100 sponsors. But at any rate still a time consuming process with making sure you have them all and spelled correctly. Properly centered and such

Thanks
As you do with all the other file formats you deal with, have requirements for sponsor lists. Insist on a text file from your customer listing all sponsors. That way no retyping or worrying about spelling. Just cut and past into your graphics program.
