I'm going to be buying a new Sooper Edge 28" Ruler. We also do vinyl decals in my shop and really looking forward to these for my HVT and decals. I haven't seen any reviews on this here so I will post my opinion when I receive the item in the upcoming week or so!

We have many of them, in a few different sizes.
Not much to review really.

They do what they are made for and stay straight.
Nice straight edge to cut against.
Nice handle to hold keeping you fingers away from your blade (if your prone to cutting yourself).
They hold up well, we have some that are more then 15 years old and you can hardly tell they are any older then the ones bought a few years back for another location.

A metal ruler works too...we also have many of those.
They are much cheaper and will conform to tables that are not perfectly flat. I recommend having both really.

Just got finished using it yesterday and I really do like the handle to hold down the ruler. The skid pad underneath is nice as well. Good to hear about the longevity as it was a investment for a ruler. Have you used the track on the handle side yet with a rotary cutter?

I had a metal Westcott ruler but I needed something a little longer with more heft. The material would sometimes shift underneath while I was cutting with the metal ruler. What brand do you use?

Also hadn't considered the table factor and you can definitely see a little dip in ours. Do you have a metal work table for cutting? Been looking to invest into a nice work space for that.
