A couple more High Def photo prints for customers, from the mighty 330TX. Still on the DuPont for now. Chevy looks great, the white inflection is some camera phenomenon that is not present when the flash is off. Detail is high though. Blue is congruent with actual photo of car. WUB was 1440x1440, but could've (should've) used 1440x720...

The girl on white is very high detail (and probably very high maintenance...), yet still only a 1440x1440 CMYK setting. IA heavily used (was spraying in the dark... couldnt see what I was doing...Marley playing in the background...dont judge me). Washed both Tees twice, Regular cycle, print side out (like to give em a beating for real world results). No color fade, no burring from shirts (FOTL-HD6). Good little under-rated unit.. Has some hick-ups here and there, but nothing I cant trouble-shoot in a day or less. Really want to inject some firebird in it's veins, see what it can really do... You just cant make sharp photo-realistic prints like these with a screen printer.

I just wanted add that the HD-6 (High Density Tees) are probably the best shirts I have used for garment printing. Hassle free, non-burring, non-WUB cracking, slightly lees comfortable (but who cares), tightly wound cotton fibers and a very consistent thickness between batches. The surface stays so flat its incredible, rogue fibers are rare if at all. The HD-6 loves the White Ink. It is the "Asprophilos" or "friend of white", compared to other brands. Havent seen too many posts regarding the FOTL HD around here

Also, the Image Armour for Light Tees is like a WUB in itself. It really binds the CMYK to the garment surface. So impressive after washing, and so different from a Dupont PT'd shirt. I get significantly less fading with the IA... Its so effective it just can't be good for you ;)

Those are some damn fine looking prints T! How long have you been using the Image Armor for, and are you just using the light garment version or do you have the dark version as well. I'm thinking about switching. Also, how long are you curing the whites for? I hear the IA doesn't burn like most other pretreats. Thanks!

Thank you - I use Image Armor for both Light and Dark - wont print anything without PT-ing it first. If you dont use on whites the colors will bleed almost everytime. Curing white for 2x45 seconds(90 secs total) Breaking up the press time into 2 parts helps give the PT a chance to cool off before completing the rest of the cure. And prevents the dreaded box... *Good Trick: If you do get the box around your prints, just take a garment steamer to the affected areas and the steam will break up a lot of the glue/binder effectively fading it out, and eventually disappearing with the first wash. Works 90% of the time!

Image Armour is a must if you use DuPont Ink. It took our prints into the future lol! So much more durable for White underbase than with DP PT...

All PT will end up 'scorching' and making a light brown 'box'/rectangle around your print if you use too much. or if you cook it too long on the press. I use FOTL HD-6 T-shirts and they work really well with the IA. Am also hardcore testing Firebird White Ink with with Image Armor at the moment, and about to beat up a couple Tees and post results tomorrow here.

Just to let everyone know, This is the one year anniversary of the Chevy t-shirt print:) I took the picture with a 16MP camera at a car show, and the customer still raves about it. He bought several copies to sell/give at car shows. I just cropped out the background in PS. Takes about a half hour to make it look sharp..

Anyone else have some FJ prints they like?

I would love to see some hat prints!
