Like the subject line says, I'd like to learn to soften the hand of our prints. In that I print 99% of the time on an auto.
I have read that curable reducer, higher mesh, better squeegee angle will all help me dial that in.
I've also read S-type mesh screens can help.
Looking for your experiences with this as it relates to an "auto".

We have found that higher mesh screens with a lower EOM work for us. It is much easier with darker colors on lighter garments. We print single stroke with 1 over 1 coated 230 for a very light hand. Hope this helps!

EOM is emulsion over mesh. Basically how thick your emulsion is on the screen. The thicker the EOM the thicker the ink deposit.
