I am new to this... I've been doing some designs in inkscape and I got one that i'm for sure done with. my question is, what's next?

which of the "preferred vendors" is best? where can i go to get it printed where I have complete control of where my design is placed on the shirt, the most colors, custom tag, etc? I really just want to get a few printed for me myself to wear along with some of my friends...i'll test them out and make necessary adjustments before i start selling them... any help is appreciated!

You can contact any screen printer and ask if they offer the services you need and perhaps send them a mock up concept of the design.
