Hello All & Happy Mother's Day, to all the Mom's on the forums.
I have a commercial printing/graphic design background, but currently am an advertising salesperson for small to medium size businesses. I have been leaning towards developing a very small sublimation business to help my start-up clients with small, specialized niche items. I also have a passion for crafting/creating personal gift items and am considering sublimation as a good fit for that as well.
The issue is that I am horribly confused regarding inks & paper! I am especially confused with whether or not the same inks can print both t-shirts (non cotton) and other sublimation coated blanks (tiles, dog tags, mugs, etc., non-3D cases)
After spending a great deal of time reading different forums, to start I believe I will be going with an Epson WF 7510 and refillable cartridges from Cobra. If I have to upgrade, eventually, so be it. It seems a better choice than investing in SG, so long as I cycle the printer daily, etc. and choose a quality heat press.
I am truly looking forward to learning more from all of you and appreciate any and all feedback.
Sincerely - Ms. V
