Hi everyone,

I had a customer come in today asking to get 2 shirts made. He wants either polo shirts, or "bowling shirts." I attached an image of my quote. I will be printing with vinyl, he wants names printed on the back, as well as possibly a 2 color logo in the front.
Do you think my quote is fair, I have not yet given it to him, and keep in mind this is for only 2 customized shirts. Thanks all!

For Polo's we would be $25 for our least expensive jersey knit. The bowling shirt would be at least $40.

Polo's are a premium shirt and you are only doing 2 of them. If it was tshirts we would do 2 for $18 each for one color/location.

Cost of goods has nothing to do with it but time does

Hi everyone,

My prices for the blanks are as follow:
Most of us decorating apparel know what blanks cost. Posting your price to the customer should suffice for us to compare. No need to show the end user members what our prices are. That being said, I agree with Binki. Polos are a premium product and you are only doing 2 pieces for the customer. Your prices seem low taking into consideration material & shirt costs, overhead, time it takes to weed and apply the graphics.

One problem with just doing a single or two items is it takes you the same amount of time to set the job up (loading artwork, vinyl, changing vinyl colors) whether it is one item or 24.
