Size of Sponsor Logos on Shirts

Hello,
I have done a few shirts where sponsor logos were needed on the back of the shirt. I usually just make 2 columns and just eyeball their measurements in relation to back print or other designs on the back of the shirt.

My question is.. are there any acceptable guidelines for sizing the sponsor logos or anything like that?? I usually just eyeball the design, but I am having trouble with this latest customer. There are only 3 sponsors and they want the logo for the play they are performing on the back as well.

What size should the sponsor logos be so as to not take away from the play logo and also still be readable?

There is no industry standard for this that I have heard of. I would place the play logo on top and the sponsors underneath. The sponsor names just have to be readable not readable from 100 feet so make sure the logo and the sponsor names are proportional and it should be fine.
I normally see them along the bottom if there is a back design, maybe 1/2 inch high. If the sponsors are all over the back, large enough to fill the back of the shirt.
thx for the replies!
I guess I'll just eye it up until it looks right..
Sometimes their size is determined by the size of their contribution. I mocked one up by eye recently and had it sent back because they were in the wrong order and some were to big for their donation's worth. I would shoot that mockup to your client to clarify...

Thanks for the heads up on that. The client has already approved the artwork and we have that in writing and in email (luckily).
I just wanted to make sure that I was sizing everything correctly since I am not an artist and Don't have the artistic eye when it comes to placement of objects.

Thanks again!!!
