Hi....
Having a bit of trouble with my supplier of Siser Cprint PU (in the UK)
First off.....I'm having real trouble getting hold of the Siser Cprint PU in satin at 500mm wide to fit in my BN20...the supplier has 750mm rolls but not 500 and this has been the same now since well before Christmas, I could buy the 750mm and get it cut down to 500mm...but then that's a waste as the "offcut" at 250mm is the wrong size to work in the BN20, so im just wasting material and it also puts the price of my garments up!! ...they have the PU in 500mm in Matt but we do not like the Matt look, so this is not suitable for what we do
So....my first question, can i get the Siser Cprint PU in satin from anywhere else in the UK? apart from the "main supplier"
..or can anyone recommend another product that is as thin as the Siser Cprint PU? ...I know there are other Siser printable products out there, we have tried these but they don't come close to the PU.
My second problem and why I want to try something else and another supplier is the current supplier keeps failing to core the Cprint PU correctly for us, even though we ask and ask and ask they still often (every other order on average) core it with 15-20mm of waste core sticking out of one end....this will not load correctly in the BN20 as the media clamp on one side either misses the media completely or has such little over it that after around 400mm of print coming out the maching it starts to lift and the head will start to clip the media!!
we use 40-50m of Cprint PU a week and I am just fed up with not being able to get the PU media in Matt and also that its not being cored correctly, We are wasting time and having to hold customers up with orders so need to find an alternative.
If anyone can help with another product thats does the same or reliable supplier of Siser Cprint PU i would be very grateful
