you should expand the red by a few pixels on all sides and it will be easier to register. you mention "keep registered" as if you had it registered but it came out of registration. what machine are you printing on?
Yes, The first print came out perfect, then after that every time I switched colors I think my screen moved. :(

I am printing on a ACS 4 color 4 station printing machine.

I went from a one color one station silver press to this as customers were wanting multiple colors and at the time it was what I could afford.

From what I've heard about that press, looks like you did a pretty good job.

And the doc has a good hint there for sure--if you always print red then black, you can trap the red--looks like a point would have closed in the little crack and then some.

I do this wet on wet all the time.
ah..............i-n-t-e-r-e-s-t-i-n-g

Guess I need to start playing around with 2 colour butt joins and traps and see what works and what makes a gunky mess on the bottom of the screen!

Are there any tricks to the wet-on-wet with a trap? You just always hear of people flashing with an overlap and I'd love to be able to print efficiently

Good call--Higher mesh will help control buildup as well.

Putting the more reduced red on a 230, putting down a thin layer of less tacky ink, and black on a 200 or 160 will mean the lower mesh means you don't have to push as hard, which also helps control buildup, and the thicker black ink holds a better edge. I'd say do some homework on "increased tack printing", but Google comes up with nil. Well, it'll probably come up with this post now.
