Hello,
I am living in Japan and I am looking at buying a A3 photo printer. Does anyone know what the equivalent model is for the Epsom 1900 and 1400 printers in Japan? My goal is also to use a CIS with the printer and convert it to dtg. The min problem is i dont know what printer to buy because the model name are all diffent.

Epson 1400 is PM-g4500
YOu wont find it in stores. Try yahoo auction or something else...

I got my Epson PM-g4500 for $30 on Yahoo acution.
It's exactly the same as Epson 1400. Even the rip's works with it.

Bought it for $35 on Yahoo Japan auction PM-G4500
Took less than a week to convert it.

You will have problem to find a supplier for DTG inks which don't seem to exist in Japan without importing...
