I am looking for a silver press hat platen. Anyone know of where i can find one. I saw the livingston on silk screening supplies but it was dang near $400.

Livingstone works pretty well - I got
it nearly paid for on my first job. The rest should be paid off on this next one I have lined up.
Minimize the number of colours you offer, or you'll need one for each platen for a decent print speed. Also, less colours helps with registration - it's a little different from printing onto a flat shirt. I max out at 2, (2 colours, 1 can be an underbase), or I raise my charges significantly.
