Hello,
Which is better for just cutting out designs for tshirts, the sizzix eclips or the silhouette cameo?
The eclips has more cutting pressure and I hear it is easy to upload your svg files and use your own clipart than the silhouette.
I read that the cameo scans in your printed image and scans it and cuts out what it scans after you edit, but then I read the Eclips does the same thing but is a 2 step process instead of 1.
But I hear so many great reviews about the cameo so I am torn.

I am leaning toward the Eclipse as it is a tad bit cheaper and it cuts more pressure but I do not need to cut any thing more than paper at this time, I may want to cut something else thicker later on but Idk yet.

So which one should I buy?

Thanks for any help!

Also I am wondering. If I get a die cutter and I cut out my letters and clip art, they will all be individual pieces that I would have to try to lay out evenly on the tshirt before I press it, but I think it would be uneven. How would I hold my cut pieces in place?

I didnt even realize but Sizzix eclips now has a second version. Sizzix Eclips 2 659860

It does NOT require or even have cartridges like the last one.

It is a little bit more expensive than the cameo but i think Im going to buy it.

What are the pieces made of? If it's heat press vinyl, you typically press one layer, then press the second layer. You may need to make adjustments to the size of the bottom layer since it effectively gets pressed twice...
