I wanted to use A3 images on my T-Shirts but only had a 12 x 12 cutting mat. I saw a 12" x 18 Artistix Cutting Mat for sale on eBay and it says it can be used with the Graphtec Silhouette Cameo.

However, in the cutting mat option, there is no option for a 12" x 18. There is a 12 x 12 one and a 12 x 24 however.

Does anyone know how I can use the 12" x 18 mat, please? Is it as simple as selecting the bigger 12 x 24 option?

Buy the 12 X 18 mat and use the 12 X 24 setting in your software making sure your artwork does not exceed 12 X 18.

if you ever do want a larger mat, cricut makes a 12x24,
the nice thing about these is they are made for these type of cutters
just measure where the left line is side and top of the cameo mat (this is the one you line-up when inserting into the cameo),
and take a pen and transfer those measurement marks onto the cricut mat
(it's not critical, but will help when using smaller scraps of vinyl)

it comes in a pack of two,
so i left one at 12x24 (i usually use this for larger signs) and cut the other one into a 12x16 and an 12x8
(plus the 12x12 that comes with the cameo, gives me lots of size options)

You know you can buy the 12x24 Silhouette brand mat, right? I've bought a few from Amazon. Once even from Amazon Prime Now and had it at my door in under 2 hours.

I'm a cheapskate so purchased a piece of celluloid and cut it 12 by 24 and used 3M remount spray on it. (you can clean off and re-apply 3M when it loses its stick)

I have seen them online at walmart, with free store pick up. Cheaper and they are brand name as well.
