I was put in charge to design a shirt and I made a prototype that a lot of people liked and now we need to put it in like a jpg or on the computer to send off to the company. My design was West Side Story and it was on the side of the shirt like most new design under the arm near the bottom (i guess its called wraped).
Is there anyway someone can help me or tell a program(and possibly a walk through) on how to do design on the side of the shirt on a software
im using inkscape
Thanks Vincent

I don't know what you want to accomplish, so guessing:

You can cut the design into slices in GIMP. Make guide(s) first, then Image - Transform - Guillotine.
In Inkscape you do something similar with Path - Difference.

If you need to adapt the design to a form sewn tee, you can distort with GIMP, Tools - Transform - Perspective.
If you want to distort in Inkscape, you can play with Object - Filter - Displacement.

Your design will be rasterized when using GIMP, and you can not easily come back to vector format.

Was I guessing too wild?
