I'm planning to starting a online t-shirt selling business but i'm not to sure how to go about it particularly on how people deal with this situation.

Should i take orders from customers first ?
or Should i just keep stock ?

Hope you can share some experience or advice with me.
Much appreciated :):)

Well I will start you out with a question; What method are you planning on using to print your shirts?
After going through the forum, looking through all the process available, i feel that DTG is a better way to print the tees due to it's environmental friendly factor, also costly.

I haven't decide yet, still researching & preparing but i see that screen printing is considered a more common way of printing tees. :)

One of the big advantages of DTG is the ability to print on demand, so in that case no other than samples you can print them up as you have orders.

Hope this helps.
No, I have seen people on here that go out of business and have 1000's of shirts from their inventory. If things don't work out in 6 months.. you gotta sell all those shirts.

with DTG its more of a print on demand.. so always order one or two more than you need until you start getting a customer base and seeing what types of shirts you are selling the most then slowly get an inventory that way but don't start with large amounts of inventory..

if you are just starting on DTG.. buy a case of darks and a case of white shirts to perfect your techniques before you starting taking orders.

Nobody asked, but what type of tshirt business are you starting? Custom printing or already designed tshirts?
Hi guys,

Thanks for the feedbacks.

Well i'm aiming at selling custom designed t-shirts & with a support from designed t-shirts available from the market. I also plan to provide design services for the customers.
I just check out on DecoNetwork. :)
Hi guys ,

Does anyone knows where can i get similar software that Decowork provide which is the (Designer Online - which allows customers to design their own shirts).

Cause i find it quite expensive to pay Decowork every month + they charge transaction fees in which i'm just running a really really small business, which i think i really can't afford it for the mean time. :)
