I finally got my T-jet blazer express, and it seems to be working fine. I read in the manual that you are suppose to remove the white ink cartridges and shake them every day.
However, from what I read on forums, the Epson chips seems to break often when you remove the cartridges.

What is better, to shake them and risk the chips or leave them and not shake?

As long as the printer is turned off when you take the cartridges out you should have no problems.

It does not hurt to do it. I would suggest not shaking it very hard and then let the ink sit for a short while to let any bubbles or foam to settle.

I'm just afraid to break chips... This morning I had to use the resetter on one cartridge. I got the "set ink crtg" message.
