Daniel Coudray, son of screen printer and industry educator Mark Coudray, has been fighting cancer for the past two years. He is currently in hospice. Mark Coudray has invested all his time, resources, and income to try and save his son's life since this time and Daniel’s treatment has incurred astronomical expenses.

SGIA has established the Daniel Coudray Medical Expense Fund, Daniel Coudray Medical Expense Fund, to raise funds to defray these expenses. If you have ever attended a Coudray seminar at an Imprinted Sportswear Show or SGIA or read an article in Impressions Magazine or Printwear magazine or if you just want to help out a tremendous individual in his time of need who has given a lot back to this industry, please consider a donation. Even $5 can make a difference. Also consider sharing this post to your Facebook wall and linking it to any other Facebook page where there are members of the decorated apparel industry who might know Mark and be willing to chip in. For updates on Daniel’s condition, check out the Daniel Dances With Cancer Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/107768482599162/?ref=ts.

From the SGIA web site:

Daniel Coudray Medical Expense Fund

Daniel Coudray, the son of longtime SGIA member Mark Coudray, is fighting a life-threatening battle with leukemia. To help the Coudray family with exorbitant medical bills, the Specialty Graphic Imaging Foundation (SGIF) has established the Daniel Coudray Medical Expense Fund.

If you’ve been involved in the industry for a few years, chances are you know Mark Coudray. He has been a leader in the specialty imaging community for decades. He has served on numerous committees and was Chairman of the SGIA Board in 2000.

Mark had to give up his primary business due to the time and finances required to fight Daniel's illness. As you can imagine, the medical bills that have piled up are staggering. Any donation amount - big or small - is greatly appreciated.

Contributions will be used exclusively for medical expenses and are tax-deductible to U.S. taxpayers. After your donation is processed, you will receive an automatic electronic confirmation, which can be submitted for tax purposes.

If you would prefer to mail a donation, please make your check payable to the Specialty Graphic Imaging Foundation and mail to:

Specialty Graphic Imaging Foundation

On behalf of Mark, his family and the SGIA community, thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
