Thanks Lisa
I was wanting to get the pin and transfer so that we could tell who was t-shirt members
that'd be too easy to tell who was who then!!!
I'm reviving this thread. I'm on the fence at this moment. But I messed up the ISS show. Maybe if we all clap loud enough Rodney will make a showing. :) Like clapping for Tinkerbell: *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAP*

Lisa are you still going?
Come on Robert you can go.
PLEASE PLEASE RODNEY, I'm stomping my feet right now like at the concerts should be pretty loud.
Me me me! Would be cool if we had the winning TSF tee by then to sport and recognize one another.
I just registered but I'm not going if Robert doesn't go because I'm not riding MARTA by myself! :p

Who's Marta?

I registered yesterday, but I'm slightly on the fence (although I couldn't resist ordering the bowling shirt during checkout at the SGIA site...darn upsells)

I would say I'm 87% going. Looks like a lot of hotels are sold out on that Thursday.
MARTA = Metropolitan Atlanta Rail Transit Authority. .... JB

That would be awesome. I did order my pin and my transfer, it should be her in a day or two I would think. Ordered it last week.
The only day I'd be able to make it is Saturday. They are only open from 9:30 - 1:00. I'm not sure whether that is worth it, or what I'll be able to see in that amount of time. I was thinking that maybe Rhonda, me and "sausage dog" AKA Nora, could go arm in arm towards Rodney singing "We off to see the wizard ..."

Public transit. :) I told Robert he could park his car at my place and we could walk down to the 10th St. station and ride the train downtown so we don't have to deal with parking. Anybody is welcome to park at my place (I'm on 9th St.), as long as you don't mind parking on the street.

Look for hotels in Midtown as well because it's really close to downtown. I have had good luck using priceline.com to find good deals on hotels around here. I was able to get a nice room (I think it was a suite, actually) for $79 + tax here: http://www.thegeorgianterrace.com/ Priceline considers it a 3.5 star hotel but it's actually more like a 5. It's directly across from the Fox Theatre and within walking distance to the 10th St Marta Station.

Thanks Rhonda. Good to know
Hmm. I'm on the fence as well.:)

I checked out the hotels for that weekend and like Rodney said, a lot of them are booked.

I'm going to think on it some more.
Lisa it is the 15-18th
I am staying in Stone Mountain and driving over.
If all goes well,I will be there. I have made a big step in my business. I have decided to hire a full time employee. I have got so much business that,I either have to quit my regular job ( I work with kids and don't want to give it up) and I also have a great retirement plan. I have been looking for a part time person and a lady with lots of embroidery experience applied. I talked to her for 3 hours and she really seems like she will work out. The best part is she is retired and just wants to keep busy. I found a person that wants to work !!! That's a switch. ... JB
Way to go Jerry. Hope to see you there. It's always a lot of fun and would be great to meet up with some TSF members and have dinner or something.
Glad to hear you are really busy.

How close are you trying to get to the GWCC? Although I registered months ago for the SGIA expo, I just booked my hotel stay last week. Marriott had a 20% off deal going on. I will be staying about 10 mi from the GWCC, the hotel has good ratings and I don't mind driving in.

Might be something you want to consider.
