Hello everyone!
Well, I finally did it...I finally am making my debut at posting in this fun place!!! haha

Ok - so I took the next step in my adventure to become a "Millionaire" and bought booth space for a "Pride" festival in June. It was a bit frighting but I managed to pull myself together and just go for it!

I am not really NEW to events, I use to work for a place where we did Baseball and Basketball tournament...but I am NEW to selling to a non-sport specific event. Has anyone done any Pride events or similar events - I am trying to pin down how many designs do I need to create and maybe a price point.... I am going to do Heat Transfers (Screen Printed) probably want to do 2 designs that will have 6-7 colors but then thinking about doing a few that just has 1 or 2 colors - I was also thinking about getting Glitter HTV and offering customized names to go on back of the shirts (Black garments).....?

Thanks for checking out my 1st post!!!! :D

Thinking about this a lot. I'll be doing my first events this summer too (sort of). I have done a lot of closed doors events for a group selling their merch, so it's a bit of a no brainer.

What I have learned from that is, KISS. We sold more shirts when we only had one kind, instead of 5.

When I do these new events it will be to the public. I am thinking of limiting it to either three designs, or 1 design and 3 things. I mean all shirts and three designs or 1 design and shirt, hoodie and something.

Going to try both and see how it goes.

Yes I am going to Spot Print the designs there - I do not want to do stock transfers because I want my designs to be Unique and different than others that may be out selling as well...the issue with these events, at least with the Pride event is that you don't know who all is going to be there selling "What"... in the past I saw a few tents selling t-shirts but they were the Same Ol Same designs...I know to design my designs where I can cut off the "events" name in case I would have to try to sell the transfers that did not sell at the event, on-line or at another event....So many decisions, so little time!! haha

Oh Yeah...I totally understand that - thanks for looking out for me!! haha
But really, I have toyed with getting the Oki for Heat Transfers, but reading the post from here and other reviews I am kind of holding off on making that expensive decision until I see how issues get figured out....that is a whole lot of money for some of the issues that are happening!!

I am also going to powder coat some stainless steel insulated can koozies to sell...25 to be exact -
I got a good price for them so I thought I would try to see how they go over....
