Hello again. This is Loirn for No Brand Logo.
I recently download a free trial of Photoshop CS5. There are two Pantone colors i want to use for my t-shirt design. The colors are Dazzling Blue (Pantone 18-3949) and Hawaiian Ocean (Pantone 17-4540). How can I find the "exact" color in Photoshop?

You can view pantone colors in Photoshop by pulling up the color picker (click on the black and white squares on the bottom of your toolbar) and then click on the "Color Librairies" button in there. That should pull up all available pantone colors.

Hello. I discovered the color libraries and Pantone options, however i can't identify the color i want. In photoshop it will say something like pantone 2345 pc, but the pantone color i discovered on pantone.com says Pantone 17-4540.

What you need to do is visit the Pantone website. They have a Pantone color cross reference application on the site that you can use. You put in the color number that you have which seems to be from a fabric color guide or something. And then you choose another guide, Pantone Coated and Pantone Uncoated are typical for screen printers, to find the closest match. Just so you know, there are and lots of color guides. Guides for fabrics, guides for metallics, paints, Inks, etc. You should use the one which is used by your printer when you're making choosing colors in order to get exact matches. A fabric guide won't have perfect matches for Ink guides
