Hi,

Did you get help with your cutter? If you did is this SeikiTech 34" Vinyl Cutter a good one?

Hello I bought a Seiki tech 870t as well did you get it running?

I have Flexi 8.5 for my plotter software.

Are there any tutorials?
I have the same cutter, I never got it running with Flexi 8.5 so a forum member here recommended signcut x2 and I have been happier ever since. You can try it out for free at www.signcut.net. If you choose to switch you can get a yearly subscription for $60. I just did not have the time or the patience to deal with flexi tech support as it took them three days of instructing me just to get the software to install properly and then i never got the cutter to cut.

Once I switched, everrything works like a charm and signcut has several tutorials to learn from.

:mad:A client of mine bought a SeikiTech cutter to replace his Roland that had stopped working. The cutter arrived damaged with obvious attempts to rub out the scratches, dirt from obvious previous use and the software was just a small mini-disk copy with no label.
The cutter would always do a final cut diagonally across the finished product, ruining the results completely.
Contact with the seller (Frank of SeikiTech) has resulted in serious screaming matches where he accuses us of not having the brains to run the software, not returning the software, not returning the dongle that was never sent in the first place and we are waiting for his next response to a demand for a full refund before taking legal actions.
:mad:DO NOT BUY A SEIKITECH CUTTER!!! Buy American, or German if you must, NOT Chinese!
