hi guys, what a pain this is becoming, been using my plotter with easycut studio for over 3 years now, decided to upgrade laptop and loaded easycut software to it, now i cant get it to talk to the plotter, any one got one and runs easycut studio on it that can point me in the right direction as to drivers and settings with in easy cut,

did you download the latest software from easycut here?

turn off firewall/security for easycut

does the computer recognize the cutter when plugged in (go to devices)?

Q: I get an error telling me the Cutting Machine can't be found. What am I missing or doing wrong?
A: Make sure you have the latest USB driver installed, and make sure you have selected the correct connection mode and port. If it still does not work, please answer these questions, so we can more efficiently help you with your issues: 1. What cutting machine model are you using? 2. are you using a USB to Serial adapter or straight USB only? 3. What version of OS are you using?
