Seeking Flash Dryer Advice

1370 Views 8 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  jmorrison0722
Can someone explain the advantage of getting one with temperature control and why it would be important? Also, I'm considering 16 x 16 or 18 x 18. I plan to use it for curing as well as flashing since I'm new and can't afford a conveyor dryer yet. From all the posts everywhere, I'm thinking going IR is pretty important, but I'm now stuck on size (not sure I'll go bigger than 16 x 16 on my designs) and temperature control.

Thanks!

get the 18x18 if you can afford it, the temp control is nice also if you plan on printing on nylon or other low melting point items.

the vastex F-Flash from advanced screen technologies is probably the best deal going right now for one with both the larger size & temp control, their customer service is great also.

Do I purchase direct from them or is there a reseller that offers a better price?
Great advice, I ordered the vastex.

Curing question... Can I cure my shirts directly on the press station or do I need to move them off the press before curing?
You could cure your shirts directly on the press but it would be best to cure your shirts off press. Just remember that if you are curing on press, can can't print while it is doing that. If you have wooden pallets, all the extra heat could possibly cause them to warp over time.

You should buy an 18" x 18" at a minimum. Here is more information and the Rotary Pallet idea as well

If you need more information you can PM me.
