Hi

i like to know which printer is good for positive film making for our need, our company known as quality and different type of product, so its important for us to have every details right in the line.
so searched for 1400 but as its disconnected there is none, we can find 1410 second handed and other option is 1430.
what you think is the best choice between second handed 1410 and new 1430?
also watched video on youtube mentioned Canon PIXMA iX6820 ,What you think, thanks guys

Worth the extra for the new 1430, if for no reason other than the warranty.
The big downside with used Epson printers is the waste ink counter (WIC) needs resetting after a certain amount of use, so if the printer is too old it may be coming toward the end of its useful life.
You can download the reset utility, but it is only a partial solution. It will get you printing again, but sooner or later you will need to have the inkpads serviced.

I've never used a Canon. I know some graphic/poster screen printers use the wide format Canon Image Prograph iPF 510 (17"), iPF670 (24") iPF770 (36") for film making, with good results. They are probably larger than a garment printer would need.

I think most of us use Epsons because of the easily availability of good quality compatible inks and refillable cartridges/CISS.
