Hi guys,

Is there anyone out there who has a copy of a spreadsheet that they use for the prices of ScreenPrinting orders.

I've seen these floating around before but are struggling to find some, also would like a view on other peoples prices roughy.

Thanks for your help guys,

Thanks

i have given mine out in the past but i never seem to get any input back from it... its on here if you search... i believe
Bomber,

Please can you post it as I'm viewing via iPhone app and search feature is a load of crap!

Thanks
I have a word document(or open office version) of my basic pricing matrix for lightweight and heavyweight shirts. I will be changing the pricing soon as I think my discounts at 48 pieces should be a lower % ( I do mostly shirts for smaller businesses and people wanting less than 100 pcs).

If you would like me to I can send it to you.
Hi, that's be brilliant if you could send it.

My email is: sales@Pure-vinyl.co.uk

Thanks
man if you get on a regular computer there are tons of spreadsheets. its going to be major PITA on an iphone anyways
bomber, did you post yours some time back, and it had a password on it?

i believe i thanked you in that original thread.

i have since created my own that appears to work for me in my area.

but i stumbled across one i had downloaded a while ago, but its password protected. i was goign to see how mine compared...

was that yours?

and if so, would you mind sending me the password?

thanks!

yep. that's the one i have.

funny, i tried using bomber as the password. forgot to add 315 :)

downloaded it last july (and thanked last july :) )
I haven't looked at the spread sheet yet but I will caution about using others pricing. it's ok to use as a guide but your location, overhead, blank pricing and so on will vary from others. What I could do an order for, you may loose money or be over priced for your area. I only mention this so that new people in the industry are informed.
yeah the password is bomber315 i just added that password so people would have to actually read the huge post i had wrote on it. i actually have a version 1.01 now... im not sure what has changed but it wasnt anything with the way it worked...

i agree. i learned a while back that my pricing is vastly different from anyone elses. to create my pricing structure, i called around and secret shopped at all of my competitors for various types of orders. compiled it all, and then priced accordingly.

too high, and no one wants to buy from you. too low and you are giving it away. gotta find that sweet spot that works for YOU and YOUR business model, overhead, costs, etc...

however, the spreadsheet that bomber posted, wasnt actually a pricing structure, but rather a quote form so that you can enter in your numbers for cost, quantity, screen fees, etc.. and it breaks down and shows you how much profit is in the job, how much time you will spend on it, what your costs are, etc....

I need to look at the sheet. Stupid iPad tries to just open and not download it. I can tell you not to be the lowest price to get a job. I have had so many people bring in a quote for a cheaper price to get me to lower price, most the time finding the other shop was using lower quality shirts or need 3 weeks to get the job out. I stick to my guns and 80% or greater I still get the job.

Don't be fooled by someone saying the got a quote for $xxx and not bringing it with them. Everytime someone says this I tell them to bring me the quote, has never happened in 5 years.
yeah my spreadsheet deals with what i care about. how much money i should make per hour. i dont have to pay for electric, water, sewage or any of that stuff, just supplies and shirts. i only care how much time it takes me to make a certain amount of money. it works real well for that. i honestly searched for the thread and couldnt find it. ill try again and link it here

jfish linked to it about 6 posts up
This is the spreadsheet that I came up with. Seems to work good for us. If you notice lines 4-20 are "hidden"... select lines 3-21 and click on "un-hide" to see most of the calcuations happening behind the scenes. All cells do not affect the final calculated price... just the ink colors, shirt hue, flash, folding, shirt qtys. Some cells have a drop down menu, click once and choose from the drop down. I should add this is an old version... all the prices are out of date. We've also added a few more line items and details since this one.

oh i thought that was a link to his own spreadsheet, i didnt click on it until now
I thought about putting together a FileMaker Go file that you could use on your iPhone or iPad to quickly generate quotes. Is that something anyone might find useful?
That would be awesome!

That would be an amazing idea!

I'd use it all the time!
