We use a manual on creases, buttons, seams, sleeves and collars. This way we can apply the correct pressure. Our look is distressed when we do this, so perfection is not an issue. It usually freaks the printer out when the do this for the first time. I wouldn't try the automatic for fear of buttons and screens and ink problems.

Be Positive, You can find a shop with manual and Automatic. Mom and Pop are good places to start.
