Would like some real honest feedback. Screenprinter/ad spec for 20 plus years- This is Geographical specific- Cost of goods, expenses and insurances going through the roof and customers looking to pay less. Raising prices only goes so far. Is this just a Mom and Pop taxpaying business? Or can real money ever be made again? Onky businesses in this locale need to comment.

Money can definitely still made. I also never competed on price b/c we offered awesome customer service, delivered good to people's door and gave them referral discounts. Competing on price is a race to the bottom.

I feel your pain. I have been in screenprinting for 20+ years now
my best years were in the 90's. I am still doing well, but in the last
few years the cost of business has increased dramatically. And like you say, people don't want to pay more. I have tried to cut expenses as much as possible - buying bulk, reduce labor costs, etc.

And I am in Indiana - from what I hear in the news, doing business in NY is even worse - move to midwest - LOL (or farther south would be even better)
