I in Newman roller frames and don't use panels. I have ran into not being able to find mesh at a reasonable price that will withstand any pressure over 38 newtons. I have busted multiple screen meshes this week that just won't hold the tension. I have used satti and jellif mesh and both have busted. Corner softening is good and it really seems the mesh can't hold the tension. Thanks in advance for the help!

Heavy duty mesh if you want it to last and the use of mesh protector tape on the front. I only use the Newman Roller Mesh. It uses a thinner thread then most the other HD. With the mesh you have you might have to stretch to 25-30n then print a few and then retension to 35. It may have to be work hardened. Even the Newman mesh has a initial tension and a work harden max tension.

1. Any sharp edges or burs nicking the mesh when stretching
2. Is it breaking while stretching or later.
3. Mesh square with the frame.

We run mostly Satti mesh some Sefar. Everything is stretched to 30-32, put in production for a job or two then kept around 35 +/- 2 or 3 except our 305 mesh which is kept around 30. Usually only pop one if I miss a burr or nick.

I will look for burs ...
Busting in the middle and after jobs.
Thanks
