Hey have of you tried screen printing on wood like a sanded pine or oak and then either laquer or polyurethane over it? If so what sort of ink can handle a top finish like that without bleeding or bubbling up?
We've printed on wood and skateboards for a couple projects.
The easiest way is to print on raw, or uncoated wood using a waterbased ink like Speedball or TW, then give it a couple clear coats with a waterbased or acrylic clear (Like Minwax Polycrylic or Golden . Make sure to allowing plenty of drying time between the print and two clear coats.
