Hey there T-shirt forums,
I have a client that has a bit of an odd request. He wants me to print a halftone image onto a material called shark tooth scrim which is used for curtains in theaters for plays. The material is 100% cotton, quite thin, and has tiny holes in it that light passes through making it seem a bit transparent. He only needs to use the material once for a production therefore I am not concerned with having a washout resistant cure. I do not want to print with any ink that will clog the tiny holes in the material and I want the ink itself to be a bit transparent too. Is water based the way to go, to not have to cure? Is there anything I should account for while printing? Thanks for any tips!!

Here is a link to some further information on the material:

If you want it transparent water base would be the best option. If your printing a white ink then even water base will likely plug the holes.
