I'm going to build one :)

Attached are my 3D model pictures. Let me know if any of you guys have suggestions. I will weld together my own screens and stretch them myself also. Thanks guys!

Looks like the QuickDraw and/or Ryonet system. I'm sure it'll work fine. I'm just not sure how fast production would be with that sort of system. I've contemplated getting one, but screen printed transfers are fast and easy and they hold up pretty well if you apply them correctly. I've gotten pretty fast at using number stencils when we do print numbers. Works pretty well.

Looks sweet. A system like that is great for international numbers (they're no fun with paper stencils, :)) and have people who want direct prints.

Number transfers are getting to the point where they're nearly as cheap as the paper stencils for direct printing--it seems to be a dying art.

I bought a numbering system from Ryonet about four years ago and I've used it for exactly 1/2 a job. Once you make the screens, that's it... you are stuck with one font/size. I have found that heatpress vinyl works much better for me. I can customise the font and size of numbers to match each job. I like how you made it slide-able that is a really cool idea and makes the 1s much more flexible in spacing.

That being said, anyone want the set I have?

Lots of things to decide before production- number style; size of #s-3,4,6,,8,10,12"; # 0 to 99 or ?; if 2 color, butt registration, complete underlay or trap; treatment of #1(on left or right) on 2 digit #s to begin with... suggest you may wish to decide what you want your system to do first. Good Luck
