Hey guys . Im about to start printing single colour slogans on to tees . I will be starting off by doing white writing / slogans / designs on top of black tees .

I have some equipment and just want a second opinon that i have all i need . So far i have

• Single colour screen press
• Frames with 110 mesh
• Flash dryer
• Exposure unit
• Scoop coater
• Squeegys

I will be ordering photo sensitive emulsion and white plastisol ink in the next few days
( any recomandations for ink from uk sellers would be greatly appreciated )

Do i need anything else or should this suffice to get me started ?. Many thanks in advance . Phil

hi george. some other iems you may need are scrub pads for cleaning the screens, as well as chemicals for reclaiming your screens.
easiway carries plastisolv842 for cleaning ink off screens on press. the product easisolv 701 is a ink, dehaze/degrease all in one.Easistrip also a produst by easiway, this is emulsion remover,

Look at getting spray tack for the pallets to hold the garmet to platten. You will need tape. You can use masking tape. good luck, hope everything turns out well.

Tex-Tac has been recommended to me.... it seems like a win win.

Yes, the Tex-Tac is waterbase adhesive. It is MUCH easier and cleaner to work with, the spray tac gets everywhere. Just starting out Im assuming your in your basement, garage or other small confined space? You will be COVERED with spray tac at the end of every day and it will get into your computer and all equipt.

Sounds like u've got most things to start off. Just make sure your digital image is opaque enough to get the perfect exposure. Also if you haven't already bought:

1. degreaser
2. scrub (something that's gentle on the mesh)
3. reclaimer
4. haze remover
5. water hose
6. ear-plugs (for when ur washing out with a hose)

thanks to everyone for their comments , i have ordered all that i think i need . i dont expect to get it right straight away so there will be some trial and error .
