How would I utilize scrap vinyl with the Expert 24? New cutter, stepping up from a Craft Robo. Are there any tutorials for this? When I load the material, as it cuts the vinyl scrap it comes out of the pinch rollers. Thanks, Mike

Is your scrap vinyl tapered? If not you may not be loading it straight. Load it and then manually pull the vinyl through to make sure its straight.

Make sure you have the pinch rollers on the material and that it is under the white areas.

Nick, I'm using Greatcut. The heat applied vinyl is under the pinch rollers under the white areas, but may not be cut straight. Will check it out later today. Also, I am physically challenged and my cutter is across the room, I can't get to the cutter before it starts cutting. I need to revamp my work flow. Limited space. Thanks, Mike

Also, try moving the vinyl to a different area of the cutter to see if it makes a difference.

Your pinch rollers need to fall within the white area of your cutter. Do a "preview" on your cutter software to make sure that your design will cut on your vinyl.

chuck. I noticed u use epson 1900. I have epson r1900 and wish to make stickers for car windows. will my 1900 print on vinyl? and which is the vinyl I could use?

I cut 4" x 4" pieces by taping another piece beside them.....

There is vinyl out there that you can print on but I have never done it. I'm sure that someone on here will chime in with more information about it.

Does not matter what size scraps you are cutting, the use of a cutting mat will resolve it. Just place the vinyl on the cutting mat and move the blade to wear you want to start cutting.
I have the Cricut cutting mat from Walmart for $8.

Check out papilo papers, they do a vinyl that can be printed with an inkjet.
